Community Partnership
Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in King George, VA is eligible for membership with InFirst FCU. We’ve sponsored several community events for the local area YMCA and the Parks and Recreation Department, as well as working on financial literacy programs in the local schools.
We are partnering with “Love Thy Neighbor” which is a local and newly formed food pantry in the King George community, that not only provides groceries to individuals and families in need, but organizes a monthly event where they serve hot meals, and provide entertainment.
The credit union is reaching out to local businesses informing them of their eligibility and services we provide that they can offer as a benefit to their employees.
We participate in and sponsor several committees relevant to local organizations, like the Fall Festival Committee, Business Round tables, Builder’s Association and Chamber meetings.
Relay For Life
Relay For Life, is a part of the American Cancer Society that raises funds and awareness for cancer research, and treatment. Relay for Life also offers counseling and prosthesis, free wigs to those patients who have lost their hair during chemo treatments, transportation to and from medical appointments, support groups, and so much more.
Children’s Miracle Network
The Children’s Miracle Network is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals nationwide. More than 17 million children are treated annually in Children’s Miracle Network hospitals thanks to generous donations nationwide.
To make a donation, you may go to Children’s Miracle Network. When you make your donation online, the funds are credited to Children’s Hospitals in your area.
