Testimonials
Here’s some of the wonderful feedback we received from members participating in our Birthday Bash Extravaganza Sweepstakes!
Irene V. - “Every time I need a loan or even something as simple as a question answered, Harley Rowe has been exceptionally helpful. She has a beautiful spirit, is very polite, and she makes sure all your needs are met before getting off the phone with you. I can definitely depend on Harley for all of my banking needs.”
Cathy A. - “OMG! I was having trouble sitting up “Bill Pay” and after several tries, that caused a major headache, I was transferred to Amber. I could tell she was ill, but was so sweet and patient with me, and helped me get that part of our account set up! Oh, and the headache disappeared! Thank you again Amber, you are Great, and I hope you are feeling much better!”
LaTasha C. - “I have been a member for over 18 years & I have had many experiences with the originals at Fed Star & now the new InFirst! However, most recently Kealin Beckner showed OUTSTANDING customer service, effective communication, and, last but not least timely completion of my debt consolidation. In turn, I shared my experience with my mother she in turn opens an account with InFirst ( was with Wells Fargo), and Kealin assisted her as well.”
Mae T. - “I just can't express the professionalism and caring for the 3 entities below. I just can't do one with the others.
Amy Hansen is a true professional, and a great asset to InFirst Federal Credit Union. There has never been a moment that I called her that she could not resolve my issues. Whereas, I thought I had a big problem with endorsing one of my client's checks. When I called Amy, there was absolutely no problem that second, minute, nor hour. It was resolved immediately. Amy knows her job and she performs it professionally. I can call on Ms. Hansen for anything with my business account and is ready willing and able to take care of my questions. Banking made easy with Amy.
Destiny, I never even ask her last name. This young lady is an asset to InFirst Federal Credit Union, also. You can call Destiny with a problem, and she will take care of everything while you are on the phone. After I talk to her and explain my dilemma, action begins immediately. She is a young, intelligent, and pleasant young lady with an attitude to always help. When I thought I had a problem, it was minute. Ms. Destiny to the rescue resolving any problem I had. Destiny is a great asset to InFirst, also.
Alexandria Office is a Godsend. I was troubled by the Marlow Heights branch moving because it was close to home. But, the workers in this office are extraordinary. Always greeted with a smile and such warm personalities. Personnel takes care of your deposits and withdrawals in seconds, and no waiting is needed. I thought I would dread going across that bridge (smile) to the bank, but, as I said earlier, it's a true Godsend. Its location is A-1! Thank you for moving!”
Reticia W. - “As long as I have been a part of FedStar now known as InFirst I have had great service and built great rapport with the differing representatives. Recently while looking into new credit options, I was assisted by Kealin who has known myself, mother and father for quite some time. She informed me of different options and ways of utilizing my credit going forward while letting me know she will be there to help as I continue to travel this journey. The process was seamless and helpful. I have always received genuine help, kindness and understanding from the staff. I hope that continues to be as the InFirst Credit Union grows and improves.”
Chad P. - “Several months ago, prior to Christmas, to have enough money to purchase gifts for my family and still have money left over for necessities, I decided to skip a payment on my truck loan with InFirst. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to do to accommodate my plan, so I called InFirst customer service. I truly wish I could remember the kind woman's name that I spoke with, but her customer service skills were outstanding. Working for a bank myself, I know what keeps people coming back and having a bank that can give a customer an all-in-one experience. I had an experience that was so easy to navigate after receiving the information I needed to skip my payment. Job well done! Thank you InFirst for making my life a bit easier and taking the time to service your customers with respect and kindness.”
Max S. - “I can say I’ve never had a single bad experience with anyone at InFirst FCU! Everyone is so overwhelmingly positive and accommodating every time! It doesn’t matter if it’s in person, over the phone, or via email, you guys make doing business as easy as it can be! Thank you guys for everything you do for the community!”
Patricia K. - “Hello, I am writing to tell you about the stellar service I recently received from an InFirst employee who helped me recently and who is still helping me. Her contact information is shown below. My husband of 41 years, Edward, an OPM annuitant, died in December, and since then, I have been overwhelmed with paperwork related to his death -- e.g, dealing with closed bank accounts, discontinued credit cards, cancelled health insurance, delays and complications re: changing joint accounts to individual, etc. As part of this process, I contacted InFirst to address several such issues. Katie Meyers helped me with several such issues and, probably because she recognized what a hard time, I was having due to my grief and advanced age (84), she made an extra effort to communicate very clearly and make complying with InFirst requirements as simple for me as possible. She even went the extra mile of communicating with the person handling my IRA to iron out a couple issues on my behalf. And all of this was done not only competently, but also in the friendliest, most upbeat manner possible. Katie is a real sweetheart, a very special person. I hope my email benefits her in some way. She deserves it.”
James L. - “I want to take this opportunity to commend Lindsey Bowman, who I spoke with this afternoon, for her support. I found that I couldn't purchase some stock in which I wanted to invest on WeFunder, because for some reason WeFunder's system will not accept my account number. So, I need to send WeFunder a wire transfer to cover the cost of the stocks I want to buy. Lindsey got me the form and the email address to which I need to send the form, and she gave me information regarding the proof of identity that the bank needs to process my wire transfer request via email. I really appreciated her help with this matter and for her explaining to me when I needed to get the form to the bank in order to have the wire processed the day that I order it. Please give Lindsey my thanks again.”
Jennifer S. - “Just last week, I visited the branch at the Poff Federal Building to order additional checks and the gal that works there is always so friendly and helpful. She always goes above and beyond to serve and to just be a compassionate human being. She is one thing that is making being back in the office (the federal building) full time bearable. Thanks, and give her an organizational shout-out!”
Duane W. - “I receive excellent service from Gail Green she goes above and beyond to inform me of all my concerns.”
Nicole G. - “I have had consistently positive experiences when I call and ask questions about my account! The staff on the line are so kind and helpful! And the wait times for assistance aren’t bad either.”
Jane F. - “Customer service from InFirst has always been stellar, even going back to when I joined Temporaries Federal Credit Union in 1989. Most recently, Stephanie McGuire helped me get my address changed following a move. Patient and friendly customer care is the norm at InFirst!”
